Al Di Meola

Al Di Meola is an American guitarist who joined Chick Corea's Return to Forever in 1974 at the age of nineteen. His solo albums Elegant Gypsy and Casino became among the most influential records in jazz fusion.
In 1980 he recorded Friday Night in San Francisco with John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucía, an album that has sold in the millions.
He won a Grammy Award with Return to Forever in 1976 and holds an honorary doctorate from Berklee College of Music.
