Janne Schaffer

Janne Schaffer is a Swedish guitarist and songwriter who has been one of the most prolific session musicians in the Nordic countries since the early 1970s. He is best known for his guitar work on ABBA's records, including Ring Ring, Waterloo, SOS, and Super Trouper.
Alongside his studio work, Schaffer has sustained a long career under his own name. His 1973 debut album reached number one in Sweden, and he has since released many albums and worked with artists such as Bob Marley and Johnny Nash. He has played on well over five thousand recordings.
