Kazumi Watanabe

Kazumi Watanabe is a Japanese guitarist who released his first album in 1971 and became a leading figure in Japanese jazz fusion. He recorded Kylyn in 1979 and toured with Yellow Magic Orchestra the same year.
During the 1980s he appeared as a guest soloist with the Brecker Brothers and with Jaco Pastorius's Word of Mouth ensemble, and in 1983 he formed the fusion band Mobo.
