Larry Coryell

Larry Coryell was an American guitarist often called the godfather of fusion for bringing jazz together with rock and country in the 1960s. He played with Chico Hamilton and founded the band The Eleventh House in 1973.
He performed in a guitar trio with John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucía in 1979, and worked as an educator and columnist alongside his playing.
