Stefanía Svarsdóttir söngkonka

Stefanía Svavarsdóttir is an Icelandic singer who has performed in a range of settings within Icelandic popular music. She first drew wider attention after winning the Samfés singing competition in 2008, and later performed with the band Stuðmenn during her teenage years. That work gave her experience of live concerts and dance-hall performances around Iceland.

She has also appeared in Söngvakeppnin, Iceland’s televised song contest. In 2015, she performed “Til þín” with Jógvan Hansen, and in 2022 she was a contestant with “Hjartað mitt,” written by Halldór Gunnar Pálsson with Icelandic lyrics by Magnús Þór Sigmundsson. Her work is therefore associated with live vocal performance and collaborations with other musicians in Iceland’s pop and entertainment-music scene.
