Guitarist Bjorn Thoroddsen has been one of Iceland’s most prominent musicians in recent years and has received various accolades throughout his career. Bjössi Thor, as he is usually called, has been making his mark in the wider guitar world in recent years and has played with many of the world’s best-known guitarists. This time, Bjössi performs with his trio, featuring drummer Fúsi Óttars and bassist Jón Rafnsson. Bjössi looks back over the history of the guitar and plays—and perhaps even sings—some of his favorite songs. There will also be stories, with nothing held back.
